Description
Mew Gulls are small gulls. This little gull is a first year bird. He found a delicious prize in the sand. A live sand dollar. He had a couple of other gulls following and hoping he'd drop his prize. :o)

Thank you very much Meg. You may be waiting a while on the visit. They come down from Alaska. :o)

Eating a sand dollar?….they must crack it open.
Bunny Clarke replied:
They eat the creature inside. It's kind of like a clam in a way. Thank you. :o)

I've never seen a live sand dollar. Seems I should pay more attention to Mew Gulls.
Bunny Clarke replied:
I had never seen a live sand dollar until I moved out to California. Same with the Mew Gulls. Thank you. :o)
