Description
The mandarin duck is a perching duck species native to the East Palearctic. It is medium-sized, at 41–49 cm long with a 65–75 cm wingspan. It is closely related to the North American wood duck, the only other member of the genus Aix. It is easily the world's most beautiful duck. :o)

My new favorite of yours, Bunny … I love these amazing duckies! I'd love to see one in real life sometime, but in the meantime, your beautiful painting is perfection!!!! f

Thank you very much Lois. We only have a few places in Southern California that keep these. :o)
