Artist's Description
It is not often I find such a sad pair of eyes as these. This Orangutan looked like he had the weight of the world on his shoulders. Was he missing someone or was he thinking of better days? :o)
Satu was the head male of the group. He sadly passed away this year in the Spring of 2022.
Taken with a Nikon CoolPix P900 at the San Diego Zoo, San Diego, CA.
